It has already been 2 weeks!

It's been 2 weeks since Aayush joined our family and he is changing and growing so quickly! He's already up past his birth weight and we love how chubby his cheeks are getting.

Now that we've had a few weeks of practice with each other, we finally were able to make time to take some family pictures! Aayush has periods when he is really quiet and alert, so we just had to catch one of these moments and be presentable ourselves :)

We truly enjoy seeing him grow everyday, and we are incredibly blessed to have him in our lives!

Sounds of Aayush!

In these first two weeks, Aayush has been exploring all the sounds that he can make. He makes different sounds for when he is hungry, needs a diaper change or when he just wants to play, and we are learning what each means!

When he is awake between feedings, he loves to play and talk. He will look around and move his hands constantly while he coos and converses with you. We have a feeling he is going to be a big talker! :)

Meeting the Family for the First Time!

Aayush is so lucky to have such a strong and supportive family! In his first week of life, he was able to meet his Charu Naniji, Rajan Dada, Shobhna Dadi, Krishna Foi, Vivek Fua, and cousins (Keshav bhai and Vidya didi)!
Keshav bhai and Vidya didi recorded a story for Aayush, so they can read to him every night. We are also sure he will enjoy playing with his new stuffed animal mouse, Jiroo!
Random picture of Aayush smiling!
Aayush hopes to meet many more of his family and friends in the upcoming months!

Aayush's Birthday!

We would like to welcome you all to Joshi Family blog! We will try to keep all of our family and friends updated as Aayush grows and becomes a little man. Our goal is to update the blog several times each month with pictures!

Aayush Shyam Joshi was born on February 15th, 2016 at night in Providence, Rhode Island.

Right after birth, Aayush was so amazed with the world and spent the next 30 minutes looking around at all of the bright lights and people that surrounded him.

Aayush spent the majority of the next few days sleeping, eating and playing! Though he is quiet (in general) he has a great pair of lungs which he is NOT afraid to use when needed :)

He has also enjoyed meeting his new family and getting to spend time with them!

Here's a picture of our newly expanded family right before we left the hospital. Both Aayush and mom are doing well and we are all happy to be home! Naniji (Ami's mother) was ready to welcome him into his new home. She has been staying with us to help with the new baby which has been amazing and we are so grateful for her help!

We can't wait for the memories to come!
